On Saturday the public is invited to see the new and improved Kolb Park.
The Village of St. Joseph is holding a rededication ceremony to show off the renovations on the St. Joseph Trail Head for the Kickapoo Bike Trail.
The event starts at noon and there will be free hot dogs and drinks for those in attendance.
The renovations include new restrooms, parking has been expanded and a short trail was built between the Railtrail and the park.
St. Joseph Mayor Tami Fruhling-Voges said she thought it was important to hold the event.
“I want to show the community what we have done there,” she said.
Fruhling-Voges is hopeful that bike riders will attend the event and ride the path to the trailhead at Kolb Park.
