St. Joseph Township- Swearingen Memorial Library June Programs
Tuesdays Drop-In Crafts: 10 to 11 a.m.
For Children ages 3 and up. Stop by anytime between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. to do a craft project. Most crafts take 10-15 minutes.
Wednesdays 6 to 7 p.m.: Adult Coloring
Do you enjoy coloring? Are you age 18 or older? If so, consider joining us at the St. Joseph Township-Swearingen Memorial Library, 201 N. Third, St. Joseph, IL, for a time of coloring for adults only. We will be hosting a coloring hour for adults only at the library. We will provide the picture and the coloring supplies. Thursdays 10 to 11:30 a.m.: Quilting Group
Bring your quilting project and join the quilting ladies at the library to work on your projects.
Thursdays 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.: Sidewalk Chalk
Weather permitting!
Be artistic! The library will host a time of drawing with sidewalk chalk outside the library.
June 20, 9:00am – 5:30pm: Stuffed Animal Sleepover
The library is hosting a sleepover for stuffed animals only. Sheba, Susan’s White Tiger, will be hosting the sleepover for children’s stuffed animals on Thursday, June 20th. Who knows what the animals will do while the library is closed? Check the Bulletin Board in the Meeting room or the library’s Facebook page on Friday, June 21st to see! Bring a stuffed animal to the library on Thursday, June 20th by 5:30 p.m. You’ll sign in your animal with Susan, Christine or Abigail.
June 14 and June 28, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.: Summer Concerts
Bring a blanket or a chair and enjoy some music on the Library’s south lawn.
Marita Booker’s piano, vocal and guitar students will be providing the music on June 14 and Guitar Goons will perform June 28.
If it is raining, the concert is cancelled.
