Edith and Warren Gordon celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary surrounded by family and friends on June 30.
The Gordons celebrated with family at home after church Sunday. They were joined by three of their four children: Raymie Gordon of Danville, Marsha Ketchen of Knoxville, Tenn. and Sharon Lawrence of Homer. Their granddaughters Rachel Komeshak of Knoxville, Tenn, Angela Lawerence of Homer also brought their children Isabelle Lawrence, Gretch and Lydia Komeshak.
The Gordons walked down the aisle together in 1945 at the Homer Methodist Church in a small, simple service surrounded only by family.
Today the couple has four children, six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter with another one on the way.
