Oakwood High School invites community members to join them for their fall sports preview night on Friday, Aug. 23.
Oakwood golf took to the course on Monday in Urbana. Cross Country will begin competing on Aug. 31 at St. Thomas More.
Volleyball will showcase what they have worked on during the summer months to the Oakwood community during an inter-squad scrimmage at that begins at 5 p.m. on the 23rd. The Comets will then travel to LeRoy on Aug. 26 to open their regular season.
Following the volleyball scrimmage, the Oakwood Football team alongside the cheer squad and dance team will take the field at 6 p.m. for a scrimmage. The Comets will head to Wateska on Aug. 30 before coming home on Sept. 6 to take on Warrensburg-Latham High School.
