The Hawks concluded their home season on Thursday with a 25-12, 25-10 win against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond.

It was a memorable victory for the school.

The win was No. 25 for the year and broke the school record for most wins in a single season.

The previous mark of 24 was set by the 1994 team and tied by the 2011 squad.

The current squad is also a part of the most volleyball wins at Heritage over a two-year span (48). The previous standard was 45 held by the 2011 and 2012 teams.

Bri Struck swatted eight kills and Bree Buck added seven kills in Thursday’s historic triumph.

Olivia Sorensen put up 17 assists while Anna Sanders had nine digs.

Kiley Knoll chipped in with five digs and two aces.

Heritage is 7-3 in Lincoln Prairie Conference games. The team returns to action tonight in Champaign against Judah Christian (15-8) and will close out the regular season on Tuesday at Villa Grove.
