Lemmon to be inducted into Heritage Hall of Fame, Booster Club to raise money through Meet the Player Night

The Heritage Booster Club will be raising funds for the high school’s team on Nov. 16 during Meet the Player Night.

The 2019 boys’ and girls’ basketball teams, cheerleaders and pep band members will be introduced.

Doors will open with a light meal offered for a nominal fee from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

During that time, guests can also register for drawing and purchase Heritage merchandise.

The three-point shoot-out will begin at 6:30 with the program to begin at 7 p.m.

The Hawks will honor Veterans who served in the armed forces, see performances by the Lil Hawks, Heritage Cheerleaders, the pep and marching bands.

Chance Lemmon, who graduated from Heritage in 2015 and continued on at Illinois College, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame for his for years on the Illinois College Basketball Team.

The evening will conclude with scrimmages from both the girls’ and boys’ basketball teams followed by the finals for the three-point shoot out.
