Central Illinois Christmas Tree Farms:
Sunset Christmas Tree Farm: At Sunset Christmas Tree Farm families can take a walk through the farm to cut down a fresh 6 to 9-foot White Pine (long needles) or choose from a great selection of 3 to 12-foot Fraser firs. The staff will also shake the trees and wrap it. They also have homemade wreaths, swags, grave pillows, and have Christmas cookies and hot chocolate. Sunset Christmas Tree Farm is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving until they sell out.
Hardy’s Reindeer Ranch: Central Illinois’ only reindeer ranch also has five-acres of “Choose and Cut” Christmas trees, along with Fraser Fir and Douglas Fir from North Carolina and White Pine From Indiana. They will also shake and bale your tree. This family tradition has open gate admission, but a reindeer tour or other amenities have an associated fee.
Helmig’s Tree Farm: Located in Saybrook, Illinois, Helmig’s Tree Farm has a tree for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a long or short-needle Christmas tree, Helmig’s has Scotch Pine, Eastern White Pine, Douglas Fir, Colorado Blue Spruce, White Spruce and Norway Spruce. This family-owned business also provides tree cleaning and baling and will load the tree.
Phillips Christmas Trees: A family-owned Christmas tree farm, Phillips Christmas Trees has been a choose-and-cut Christmas tree farm McLean County with Scotch Pine, White Pine and Norway Spruce for over 30 years.
C-U Optimist Club: Fresh-cut Christmas trees at the corner of Springfield and Mattis to benefit programs and charities that serve children.
Tate’s Trees: In their 49th year of business, Tate’s Trees is open for 2019 season with 4 to 13-foot Fraser Firs, 6 to 8-foot Douglas Firs, 6 to 8-foot Scotch Pines, 6 to 8-foot White Pines, and 6 to 8-foot Concolor Firs. Fraser Fir Wreaths and swags are also available.
Four E’s Trees: Four E’s Trees rings in the 59th season for choose-and-cut Christmas trees in Mt. Zion. This year Balsam, White Pine and Scotch Pine trees are available. They also provide live trees ready-to-buy: White pine, Norway spruce, Concolor fir, Canaan fir, and Colorado Blue Spruce.
Hager Tree Farm: Located in Ashmore, IL, Hager Tree Farm has choose-and-cut White and Scotch Pines and pre-cut Fraser Firs. Drilling and baling of trees is provided a no charge. They also offer custom wreaths, swags, greenery, grave pillows and blanket, herbal star soy candles and roping.
Talbott’s Christmas Tree Farm: Choose and cut from our 40 acres of trees — mainly Scotch and White Pines, some fir and spruce trees.– or choose from fresh-cut Fraser Firs and Scotch and White Pines. Tractor – trailer rides on the weekends and complimentary hot cider.
