Holloman, Block lead VGH girls’ over Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond and Salt Fork

The Blue Devils won twice to end the week and raise their winning streak to five games.
On Thursday, VG/H won at home over Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, 67-27. On Saturday, the Blue Devils earned a 50-30 victory at Salt Fork.
VG/H jumped into a 25-3 lead after one quarter against A-L/A-H.
Aliya Holloman scored nine of her team-high 25 points in the opening frame.
The Blue Devils nailed 9 of 13 free throws in the first quarter and then went to the line just two more times thereafter.
Kyleigh Block scored 17 points, Vanessa Wright had eight points and Samantha Campbell finished with seven points.
Block led the way at Salt Fork, putting up 14 points. Campbell had 10 points and Jordyn Ray hit her season’s high, also scoring 10 points. Holloman added eight points.
The Blue Devils (7-1) return to action tonight against Okaw Valley in Bethany.
