Young’s 30-points leads Comets over Armstrong-Potomac

Katelyn Young put up nine first-quarter points on Monday as the Comets earned a 47-27 win at Armstrong-Potomac.
Young tallied 30 points, the fifth time this season she has hit that mark. Young downed 8 of 9 free throws.
Oakwood led 12-4 after one quarter and 34-16 at halftime.
Karsen Rupp scored eight points and Mikayla Cox added five points, including a first-quarter three-pointer.
Oakwood is 15-4 overall and 5-1 in Vermilion Valley Conference contests. The team will put a four-game winning streak on the line tonight at home against Milford.
