Homer Community Library to close for two weeks
From Facebook March 16, 2020
The Homer Community Library will be open our regular hours today, 2-7pm, however it will be our last day of regular service until March 30, at which time we will re-evaluate the situation. This decision was made in order to slow down the spread of COVID-19 by limiting person-to-person contact and keeping our facility virus-free. Borrowed items may still be dropped off at the book drop. For those feeling ill, we ask you to hold on to those items and stay in your homes. The library will automatically renew items and will waive fines throughout this period. We are looking into offering a limited, curb-side service – please check back here or on our website for more details in the next couple of days. We also encourage you to check out our on-line resources, including access to e-books and e-audiobooks. If you have trouble accessing these resources please call or email the Library and someone will get back to you. Thank you for your support and patience as we adapt to these challenges.
