Update from the Village of Homer on the COVID-19
As you are aware the nation is experiencing an epidemic of the COVID-19 virus and we would like to inform you of actions that the village is taking and resources that you might need.
The village hall will be open at 6 a.m. Tuesday for the primary election and the village offices will be open regular hours from 9 to 12:30 and from 1:30 to 5 pm. On Wednesday, March 18, the village offices will be closed as usual. Should we decide to close the Village Hall we will update you further. Payments will be received in the drop box at the Village Hall and processed as usual. Payments can also be made online at homervillage.com.
We have several village public committee meetings scheduled this week and we will hold those as scheduled.
The Homer Community library will be closed Tuesday March 17 until March 30.
Village services will operate normally for water and sewer as well as other regular maintenance. We have contingency plans in place for the continuation of these services in the event of absence.
