Jonathon Perry, 28, of Homer, is in police custody after a double homicide left two women dead in St. Joseph Township. 

Deputies were dispatched at 4:15 a.m. after a caller said that Perry had made comments that made the caller believe that there were residents that were injured or dead.

Perry was arrested him on preliminary charges of first-degree murder.

The victims’ names have not been released pending notification of relatives.
