St. Joseph-Ogden Senior Spotlight: Hannah Rajlich, Tia Pruitt, Josh Vice and Luke Renfrew

Hannah Rajlich

Cross Country (4 years), Track and Field (4 years), NHS,  Student Council, AMP,  Maroon Platoon, Spanish Club

Hannah lives in St. Joseph with her family. She has two older brothers, one younger sister, and one younger brother. Her hobbies include cooking, traveling, hanging out with friends and family, and running. Hannah has a lot of great memories at SJO. When Hannah was a freshman, the SJO Cross Country team won IHSA State, and when Hannah was a sophomore, the SJO girls’ track team won IHSA State. During her sophomore track and field season, her 4 X 800M relay placed 3rd in IHSA State. After high school, Hannah is headed to College Station, Texas, to study nutrition at Texas A & M University. Her advice for future SJO students is to get involved and to soak in the whole high school experience because it goes by so fast. Her favorite classes at SJO were Physics with Mr. Glazier and U.S. History with Mr. Schacht. Throughout her years of schooling, Hannah’s favorite teachers include Mrs. Steele at St. Joseph Grade School, Mrs. Cler at St. Joseph Middle School, and Mr. Glazier and Mr. Schacht at St. Joseph-Ogden High School. Congrats to Hannah on all of her accomplishments and best of luck to her in the future. 

Tia Pruitt

Cheer (3 years), Softball (1 year), Student Council

Tia lives in St. Joseph with her mom and dad. She has two younger sisters and one younger brother. Her main hobby is hanging out with friends and family. Tia has many great memories at SJO. She really enjoyed every part of the SJO cheer team her freshman, sophomore, and senior years. She also enjoyed Student Council as well during her junior year. After high school, Tia plans to attend Parkland College to major in nursing. Her advice for future SJO students is to keep pushing on even when school is tough. Her favorite classes at SJO were science and history with Mrs. Beckett. Throughout her years of schooling, her favorite teachers are Mrs. Manwaring at St. Joseph Grade School, Mrs. Mabry at St. Joseph Middle School, and Mrs. Beckett at St. Joseph-Ogden High School. Congrats to Tia on all of her accomplishments and best of luck to her in the future. 

Josh Vice

Drama Club

Josh lives in St. Joseph with his mom and dad, Stacey and Todd. His hobbies include working out at The Zone and helping out at church for the WOW program. His greatest memory at SJO was during his sophomore year when Josh helped as a part of the stage crew for the fall play. After high school, Josh plans to attend Parkland College, and he is undecided on his major. His advice for future SJO students is for students to take their time learning and maturing and to know that there are plenty of people at the high school to help. His favorite classes at SJO were Advanced Biology with Mrs. Kietzman and Business Law with Mr. Schacht. Throughout his years of schooling, his favorite teacher is Mrs. Bayles at St. Joseph Middle School. Congrats to Josh on all of his accomplishments and best of luck to him in the future.

Luke Renfrew

Football (4 years), Boys’ Basketball (4 years), Maroon Platoon

Luke lives in St. Joseph with his mom and dad. He also has an older brother. His hobbies include hanging out with friends and family and working on cars. His greatest memories at SJO revolve around sports. Luke enjoyed going to the IHSA Football Playoffs three of his four years. He has really enjoyed sports in general because of the positive moments he has been a part of. After high school, Luke wants to become an electrician, and he plans to join the union for this in January. His advice for future SJO students is to enjoy high school because it goes by so fast. His favorite classes at SJO include all of his agriculture classes with Mr. Billman and any class he has had with Mr. Duval. Throughout the years, his favorite teachers have been Mrs. Ford at St. Joseph Middle School and Mr. Duval, Mr. Billman, Mr. Skinner, Mrs. Kerner, and Senor Sutton at St. Joseph-Ogden High School. Congrats to Luke on all of his accomplishments and best of luck to him in the future.
