CUPHD releases additional guidance for Champaign County Schools
The Champaign-Urbana Public Health Department has released strategies that districts must implement and recommendations they should consider as they approach the 2020-21 school year.
CUPHD says that the guidance in the document should be used in combination with guidance provided by the Illinois State Board of Education.
The additional strategies are meant to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Best health practices “must be implemented by all Champaign County schools. These practices are foundational to minimizing the risks of exposure to COVID-19 for students, staff, and families. These practices are considered the minimum level of implementation, and schools may not be less restrictive.”
