The IHSA released fall sport-specific guidelines Friday, giving way to golf to begin practice on Aug. 10 and participate in competitions Aug. 13.
All Phase 4 Return to Play Guidelines must be followed during practice and the competition, including social distancing of six feet and limiting groups to 50, including participants, coaches, timers, paid/volunteer meet officials, spectators, and media.
IHSA is still to determine if a state series will be held, so schools are encouraged to keep dates in October, particularly the 16th and 24th, open for that possibility.
