Kamble Pearman and Rylan White had hits in each of Heritage’s last two games.
In Monday’s 25-1 loss against Oakwood at Homer, Pearman and White were the lone Heritage players with hits. Teammates Lukas Miller and Kaden White each drew walks.
Brennan Struck pitched one inning in relief and struck out three batters.
On Thursday (Aug. 20), Heritage lost a 12-2 decision in Danville to Schlarman Academy.
Besides Pearman and Rylan White, other squad members with hits were Anthony Happ and Robert Holloman. Pearman and Happ each scored runs.
Struck and Rylan White both drew two walks. Teammates who walked once were Kaden White and Jack Ballard.
Happ suffered the loss, but struck out four batters in 2 1/3 innings.
Heritage (0-4) returns to action on Thursday (Aug. 27) at Homer against Salt Fork.
