The Knights continued their winning ways on Thursday (Aug. 27), edging Schlarman Academy 7-6 in Danville.
Jake Garrison and Loudyn Hughes each delivered two hits for Oakwood. Hughes and Brandt Hobick had two runs batted in apiece.
Winning pitcher Jackson Dudley also had an RBI. Dudley worked three innings and struck out four.
He was followed to the mound by Adam Watson, who also fanned four in three innings, and by Bryson Marcinko, who registered a three-strikeout performance in his one inning.
Dudley has two pitching victories for the Knights (4-0).
Oakwood returns to action on Wednesday (Sept. 2) at Newtown against undefeated Prairieview Ogden.
