For the fourth consecutive meet, Zach Buesing was the meet medalist and for the fourth meet in a row, the Villa Grove/Heritage standout fired a round in the 30s.
On his home course Thursday (Sept. 3) at Tri-County Country Club, Buesing carded a 37 for VG/H, which lost to Arcola (166-195), but defeated Tri-County (195-217).
The team’s composite score was its best of the season.
Other scores for the Blue Devils (1-4) were: Noah Davison (season-best 49), Nicolas Wilson (season-best 51), Jesse Bessent (season-best 58) and Brandon Kelly (65).
Buesing’s nine-hole season average is 37.8 entering the team’s next meet, Thursday (Sept. 10) at Ironhorse in Tuscola against the Warriors and Effingham St. Anthony.
