Five Comets finished within 39 seconds of one another on Tuesday in a four-school meet at St. Joseph.
The athletes ran a 1.5-mile course.
Senior Eli Ronk was the Oakwood leader, covering the layout in 9 minutes and placing 17th. Freshman Alec Harrison was 18th in 9:19.
Other team leaders were Coleton Vermillion (19th in 9:24), Dalton Hobick (24th in 9:28) and Jacob Taflinger (27th in 9:39).
SJ-O totaled 21 points and won the meet. Runner-up Tuscola had a score of 40 and was followed by Oakwood (85) and Armstrong-Potomac (110).
The Comets return to action on Saturday at the Paxton-Buckley-Loda Invitational.
