Villa Grove/Heritage’s Kyleigh Block shot a season-best 54 and tied for seventh individually on Thursday (Sept. 10) in a three-team girls’ golf meet at Ironwood, in Tuscola.
The Blue Devils finished third in the team race. Meet champion Effingham St. Anthony had 182, followed by Tuscola (198) and VG/Heritage (244).
Other scores for the Blue Devils were: Maci Clodfelder (62), Logan Lillard (64), Alison Pangburn (64), Addisyn Wilson (65) and Ava Vollmer (71).
VG/Heritage returns to action on Thursday (Sept. 17) for Senior Night at Tri-County Country Club against St. Joseph-Ogden and Okaw Valley.
