Heritage Boys’ Cross-Country
Heritage’s Hunter Montgomery was the runner-up on Monday (Sept. 21) in a junior high cross-country meet at Oakland.
His time was 13 minutes and 26 seconds for a course that measured about 2.15 miles.
Other team leaders were Christian Paul (fifth in 15:57), Clark Roland (11th in 16:22) and Eli Denmark-Collins (17th in 17:54).
Heritage Girls’ Cross-Country
Kiara Jones, from Heritage, was the individual champion on Monday in a junior high cross-country meet at Oakland.
Her winning time was 14 minutes and 10 seconds for a course that measured about 2.15 miles.
The team’s other participants were: Kamryn Soard (fourth in 16:06), Madisyn Wilson (11th in 19:20) and Loran Tate (13th in 19:53).
