Eighth-grader Hunter Montgomery was the individual champion on Friday (Sept. 25) in a multi-school meet hosted by Bismarck-Henning at Kickapoo State Park.
Montgomery’s winning 2-mile time was 13 minutes and 15 seconds.
One teammate ended among the top-10. Christian Paul was fifth in 13:37.
Other team leaders were Clark Roland (11th in 15:29), Eli Denmark-Collins (16th in 16:50) and Atticus Ashbrook (28th in 22:12).
The team returns to action on Thursday (Oct. 1) in the Heritage Invitational, at Homer.
