The Knights dropped a 9-1 decision on Saturday (Sept. 26) to Bismarck-Henning in the Class 2A IESA regional title game.
Bryson Marcinko (4-1) struck out eight batters in five innings.
Adam Watson and Jake Garrison had the Knights’ hits. Watson delivered the lone RBI.
For the season, Oakwood ended with a 10-2 record and outscored its opponents by a margin of 128-35.
The Knights have a potential makeup game to play against Rossville-Alvin that could allow them to earn a share of the conference crown, if victorious.
