Three Panthers finish in top 25 at Mahomet-Seymour

Three Panthers registered top-25 finishes on Monday (Oct. 5) in a three-school girls’ junior high cross-country meet at Mahomet’s 13 Acres Park.
Jaci Kellenberger placed 17th (14 minutes and 18.7 seconds). Ava Alexander was 19th (14:40.1) and Averie Dietiker was 25th (14:49.6).
The other St. Joseph runners were: Ava Gallo (28th in 15:03.6), Hannah Moch (31st in 15:17.4), Abby Crider (32nd in 15:20.4), Faith King (33rd in 15:21.0), Kylie Barrowman (39th in 15:50.5), Kiah Reisel (43rd in 16:32.2), Vivian Smith (45th in 16:47.3), Mia Jones (46th in 17:24.3) and Hadley McDonnald (47th in 18:15.8).
Mahomet-Seymour won the team title, followed by Mount Zion and St. Joseph.
The Panthers return to action on Saturday (Oct. 10) in a six-school sectional it will host at the St. Joseph Community Park.
