All of the school’s three entries placed among the top seven on Tuesday (Oct. 6) in the girls’ junior high Heritage Cross-Country Invitational at Homer.

Hayden Thomas completed the 2-mile course in 16 minutes and 22 seconds. She was third overall.

Teammates who followed her were Eva Piercy (sixth in 18:20) and Lilly-Lynn Davis (seventh in 18:40).

Villa Grove will run in the six-team Casey Sectional on Friday (Oct. 16).
