In the 2-mile race, the top runners from three schools finished in a near photo-finish.

Three of his teammates also secured berths in the top 10.
Jackson Gilles was seventh in 14:10, Tucker McGarigle was ninth in 15:57 and Nolan Shadwick was 10th in 15:59.
The team’s other participants were: Logan Hauersperger (11th in 16:11), Kendrick Roy (12th in 18:24), Maddox Piercy (13th in 18:32) and Blake Davis (14th in 18:36).
