The Blue Devils placed 10th in the 12-school Charleston Class 1A girls’ golf regional on Wednesday (Oct. 7).
Team champion Charleston (377) and Paris (392) reserved berths in next week’s Rochester Sectional by virtue of their top two finishes.
VG/Heritage had a team composite of 491.
Besides the team leaders, the top four individuals not on advancing teams will also compete at the Rochester Sectional on Thursday (Oct. 15).
It took a 105, or lower, to advance individually.
Maci Clodfelder was the VG/Heritage leader, with a 114. She tied for 27th in a field with 71 competitors.
The Blue Devils’ other participants were: Kyleigh Block (125), Addisyn Wilson (125), Logan Lillard (127), Zoey Thompson-Burton (141) and Alison Pangburn (144).
