Zach Buesing qualified for the sectional after shooting an 84 on Tuesday (Oct. 6) in the Central A&M Class 1A boys’ golf regional at the Moweaqua Golf Course.
The sectional will be held on Tuesday (Oct. 13) at Ironwood, in Tuscola.
Buesing tied for 10th overall.
The Blue Devils’ other scorers were: Jake Gilles (100), Nicholas Wilson (103), Liam Barr (105), Noah Davison (106) and Jalen Southard (117).
Regional champion Sullivan (330) and runner-up Monticello (334) qualified their entire teams for the sectional.
VG/Heritage tied for eighth in the 11-team field with a 398 composite.
The top four individuals not on those teams, including Buesing, also moved on.
