Lilli Montgomery was the team-leader for the Blue Devils in a girls’ cross-country meet on Monday (Oct. 6) at Sullivan’s Tabor Park. She placed fifth.
Montgomery’s 3-mile time was 21 minutes and 56 seconds.
Teammate Hailey Stutz was 19th with a season-best time of 24:29.
Other VG/Heritage competitors were: Emma Buesing (13th in 22:56), Kyleigh Price (21st in 25:24) and Madison Logan (22nd in 25:48).
Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond was the team champion, followed by Tuscola and VG/Heritage.
VG/Heritage returns to action on Tuesday (Oct. 13) at Paxton-Buckley-Loda.
