The Blue Devils had two top-10 placers on Tuesday (Oct. 13) in a five-school girls’ cross-country meet at Paxton.
Lilli Montgomery claimed fourth place, registering a time of 22 minutes and 36 seconds in the 3-mile race. Teammate Emma Buesing finished ninth in 23:57.
The team’s other competitors were: Hailey Stutz (16th in 25:04), Kyleigh Price (22nd in (26:13) and Madison Logan (23rd in 26:14).
VG/Heritage captured third place in the team race, trailing Paxton-Buckley-Loda and Clifton Central.
The Blue Devils return to action on Tuesday (Oct. 20) at Tuscola.
