Leaves are falling and piling up in lawn’s around St. Joseph.
That’s where Pack and Troop 40 want to step in to help. The 20-member group, comprised of 12 to 18-year olds have launched their Community Service Project that will run through Oct. 30.
“The troop is always ready to help the community,” Owen Yohnka said.
The Village of St. Joseph provides leaf vacuuming from Oct. 18 thru mid-November.
By emailing pack40stjoseph@gmail.com with the address that needs leaves racked, Scouts and their families will show up over the upcoming weeks to rake leaves. This will be a contactless service for the homeowner.
The Troop is learning that helping out the community is a good thing to do.
