St. Joseph-Ogden High School to go remote after Nov. 20
Superintendent Brian Brooks said that St. Joseph-Ogden High School will return to remote learning after Nov. 20 per a Champaign-Urbana Public Health recommendation Thursday.
The Spartans will remain in remote learning until Jan. 5.
“We want our teachers and students to have a chance to meet a few more times (our students only do in-person instruction every other day) so that they can prepare adequately for doing 100% Remote Learning,” Brooks said. “If our cases were to spike next week, then we would cut that short and go into full remote learning at that time.”
In the last 160 days of in-person school, St. Joseph-Ogden has had 9 student and 5 staff cases, all unrelated to exposure during school hours.
