The Republican and Democrats held their caucus to nominate board of trustee candidates for the 2021 consolidated election.
No one showed up to the Democrat caucus, and the Republicans nominated Tami-Fruhling-Voges for a 4-year term as mayor and Terri Cummings, Max Painter and Jeff Van Buskirk for 4-year terms as trustees.
Independent candidates can still run on the 2021 ballot by filing nomination papers with the Village office during the filing period, December 14-21.
The seats of mayor and three trustees on the Village of St. Joseph board of trustees are open for election.
