Heritage JH Girls’ Basketball snaps two-game losing streak

Both the girls’ seventh- and eighth-grade teams have identical 1-2 season records after snapping two-match losing streaks on Monday (Feb. 8).
The seventh-graders went on the road and upended Shiloh (25-19, 25-17).
On Thursday (Feb. 4), the seventh graders suffered a three-set loss to Georgetown-Ridge Farm (9-25, 25-17, 25-22) in their home-opener.
In the team’s opener on Tuesday (Feb. 2), Prairieview Ogden posted a 25-14, 25-11 win over Heritage in Gifford.
The eighth-graders reached the win column on Monday (Feb. 8), rallying to top Shiloh (15-25, 25-20, 26-24) for a road victory.
Against Georgetown-Ridge Farm on Thursday (Feb. 4) at home, Heritage lost a 25-16, 25-18 decision.
The team’s first match on Tuesday (Feb. 2), against Prairieview Ogden, ended with a 25-20, 25-12 setback in Gifford.
Both teams return to action on Thursday (Feb. 11) at home at Homer against Tri-County.
