Nohren and Eversole step up in first win of 2021

Logan Nohren’s double-double helped the Blue Devils snag their first win of the season on Friday (Feb. 12) at home against Tri-County 75-50.
Nohren had a game-high 26 points to go with 14 rebounds.
Jake Eversole, the only Blue Devil who has made three-pointers in each of the team’s first three games, connected for a season-high 18 points to go with eight assists.
He hit three of the VG/Heritage’s six three-pointers. Nick Coffin also made three three-pointers. Carson Howard contributed six points and eight rebounds.
The Blue Devils expanded an 18-11 first-quarter lead to 34-21 to halftime.
VG/Heritage (1-2) returns to action on Friday (Feb. 19) at Arcola.
