Hobick scores 20 in win over Chrisman

Dalton Hobick scored 20 points, helping the Oakwood boys’ basketball team to its most dominating win of the season, a 64-26 conquest at Chrisman on Tuesday (March 2) in a Vermilion Valley Conference contest.
Oakwood led, 18-9, after one quarter and 39-15, at halftime. Chrisman was limited to five field goals during the final three quarters.
Josh Young, who has scored in double figures in all nine of the team’s games, had 13 points. Griffin Trees netted a season-high 10 points. Trees knocked down two three-point shots.
Brevin Wells contributed nine points.
The Comets (7-2) return to action on Friday (March 5) at Westville.
