Taylor Wells scored 10 points to spark St. Joseph-Ogden to a 40-20 girls’ basketball victory over IVC on Monday (March 1) in Chillicothe.
Wells hit six of her points in the opening quarter as the Spartans built a 12-6 lead.
Peyton Jones drilled three three-point shots and finished with nine points. Jones has made three-pointers in five consecutive games.
Ashlynn Lannert added six points.
SJ-O allowed just three field goals during the first three quarters. The Spartans led at halftime, 21-7.
SJ-O (6-3) returns to action on Thursday (March 4) at Stanford Olympia.
