The Spartans opened their season at home on Wednesday (March 10) and dropped a 3-1 decision to Stanford Olympia. The visitors led 2-1 at intermission.
The lone SJ-O goal was scored by Logan Ingram and created a 1-1 tie in the opening half. His goal was unassisted.
Spartan goalkeeper Hunter Ketchum finished with seven saves.
SJ-O (0-1) returns to action on Tuesday (March 16) at Tolono Unity.
