Becca Steinbach handed out 27 assists on Tuesday (March 16) as St. Joseph-Ogden opened the volleyball season with a 25-17, 31-29 triumph at Chillicothe IVC in an Illini Prairie Conference match.
Payton Vallee pounded a team-high 14 kills. Kennedi Burnett contributed seven kills and a team-high 10 digs.
The leader from the service line was Emily Fisher, with three aces.
SJ-O (1-0) returns to action on Thursday (March 18) at Stanford Olympia.
