Madie Burwell pounded seven kills on Monday (March 29) for Villa Grove’s volleyball team, which suffered a 25-18, 25-23 setback at Decatur Lutheran.

On Tuesday (March 30), the Blue Devils went on the road and captured a 25-20, 25-22 win at Sangamon Valley.

Burwell, Kyleigh Block, Maci Clodfelder and Vanessa Wright each collected four kills. Kayln Cordes dished out 10 assists.

The Blue Devils (2-3) return to action on Thursday (April 1) at Cerro Gordo/Bement.
