Comet soccer wins fifth consecutive match

Brady Tevebaugh scored two goals and assisted on four others on Tuesday (March 30) as the Oakwood/Salt Fork soccer team won its fifth consecutive match, 7-0, at Georgetown-Ridge Farm.
Teammates Sam Howie and Grant Powell also netted two goals apiece and Powell wound up with two assists.
Nathan Wright scored the other goal for the Comets, who led 3-0 at intermission.
A goal by Tevebaugh, followed by two goals from Powell accounted for the first-half scoring.
Aaron Dean had four saves and picked up his second shutout of the season.
Oakwood (5-1) returns to action on Thursday (April 1) at Tolono Unity.
