Hawks beat Arcola in two sets

Junior Bri Struck pounded a season-high 16 kills on Monday (April 5), but Heritage dropped a non-conference volleyball decision at home to Chrisman, 22-25, 25-15, 25-20.
Struck also had six digs.
Mary Roland handed out 27 assists to go with three digs and two aces.
Anna Sanders had six kills and eight digs while teammate Kiley Knoll had four kills and 13 digs.
Torie Rothermel chipped in with two kills and three digs. Lily Ploense had two aces and four digs.
On Tuesday (April 6), the Hawks won their second match this month, taking down Arcola 25-11, 25-13 in Broadlands.
Knoll turned in a seven-kill, seven-dig performance. Struck had nine kills to go with three digs.
Roland contributed 23 assists and two digs.
Sanders had two kills and eight digs while Rothermel posted five kills and three digs.
Ploense added two aces and three digs. Trinity Tatman also had three digs.
Heritage (2-7) returns to action on Thursday (April 8) at home against Villa Grove. This month, Heritage has won two of three matches.
