Oakwood was held to three singles by University of Illinois recruit Crayton Burnett on Monday (April 19) and lost a 7-1 baseball decision at St. Joseph-Ogden.
The Spartans broke a 1-1 tie with a four-run third inning.
Cayden Wells tallied the lone run for the Comets.
Oakwood (1-1) returns to action on Thursday (April 22) at Centennial.
