Comets pick up first win over Heritage Softball

The Comets started Lexi Smith’s coaching career on the right note with a 23-6 softball triumph on Thursday (April 22) at Heritage.
Oakwood scored 12 runs in the top of the first inning before Karsen Rupp threw a pitch.
Tiffany Paris totaled three hits, including a two-run homer in the opening inning. Rupp also collected three hits as did Savannah Nevitt. Lacey Harrison added two hits and drove in five runs.
Madison Stuebe had two hits for Oakwood.
Oakwood (1-0) returns to action on Thursday (April 29) at home against Armstrong-Potomac.
