Oakwood scored a run in four different innings on Thursday (April 22) and held on to edge Centennial, 4-3, in Champaign.
Isaiah Ruch pitched a complete game to earn his second win of the season. Ruch allowed four hits, walked one and struck out six.
Centennial scored its final two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Koby Fletcher reached base all four times he batted, three times with hits and once after being hit by a pitch. He was the only player in the game with more than one hit.
Oakwood (2-1) returns to action on Monday (April 26) at home against Heritage.
