Spartan baseball remains unbeaten

Crayton Burnett pitched a seven-inning complete game, allowing two hits, no walks and striking out 17 as well as cracking a home run on Tuesday (April 27) as unbeaten SJ-O posted a 14-0 shutout at Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley.
Burnett ended with three hits. Teammates with two hits were Andrew Beyers and Hayden Brazelton.
Tyler Altenbaumer and Coby Miller each drove in three runs.
The Spartans (8-0) return to action on Thursday (April 29) at home against Charleston. In a seven-day span, ending on Tuesday, SJ-O won four road games.
