Six Oakwood/Salt Fork wrestlers went 2-0 on Thursday (April 29) in two dual-meet wins at Monticello.
Included in the group of double winners were Reef Pacot (132 pounds) and Josh Miller (220 pounds), who posted two pins apiece.
Also winning twice were Brady Taflinger (120 pounds and 126 pounds), Bryson Capansky (138), Blake Barney (145) and Joe Lashuay (160).
The Comets opened the season by edging Monticello 37-33 and overpowering Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin 54-24.
Winning one match on opening night for Oakwood/SF were Grant Brewer (152), Ben Jessup (170), Tate Johnson (170) and Ezekiel Smith (195).
Oakwood/Salt Fork (2-0) returns to action on Monday (May 3) at Mattoon.
