Gracie Enos pitched the final two innings of Game 1.
Savannah Nevitt and Tiffany Paris each collected two hits in the first game to spearhead the Comets’ eight-hit attack. Lyrik Talbert’s RBI in the first inning lifted Oakwood into a lead it wouldn’t lose.
In the second game, an eight-run fifth inning put Oakwood over the top.

In the fifth-inning uprising, Alyssa McCoy, Rupp, Talbert, Audrey Schnaus and Madison Stuebe all drove in runs.
