Heritage baseball loses two

The Hawks were held to seven hits in a home game where they fell behind 7-0 on Tuesday (May 11) before dropping a 7-3 decision to Neoga.
Carson Howard drove in two runs for VG/Heritage.
Noah Davison pitched 4 1/3 scoreless innings of relief after being summoned for Howard in the third inning.
On Wednesday (May 12), Mason Wyant and Ryan Cheatham scored runs in the bottom of the seventh to get the Hawks on the scoreboard in a 9-2 loss at home to St. Joseph-Ogden.
Brady Clodfelder, who drove in a run, pitched 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief and fanned three batters.
The Hawks (6-5) return to action on Friday at home against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin.
