Seven Oakwood/Salt Fork wrestlers went 2-0 for the night on Thursday (May 13) as the team won dual meets at Westville over the host Tigers (51-21) and over Hoopeston Area (45-30).
Nate Whaley (106 pounds), Gage Reed (120 pounds), Reef Pacot (126 pounds), Blake Barney (138 pounds), Connor Hutson (145 pounds), Grant Brewer (152 pounds) and Joe Lashuay (170 pounds) were unbeaten for the night.
For the season, Pacot (9-0 with six pins) and Reed (7-0 with four pins) are undefeated.
Besides Reed, Pacot, Barney, Hutson, Brewer and Lashuay, other Oakwood/Salt Fork wrestlers with a pin against either Westville or Hoopeston were Bryson Capansky (132 pounds) and Tate Johnson (170 pounds),
Oakwood/Salt Fork (8-1) returns to action on Tuesday (May 18) at home against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin and Effingham.
